This training day is officially cancelled due to the weather coming in Friday Night. All bird orders will be refunded via venmo. We look forward to seeing everyone next month.
We will be holding an annual meeting followed by training day– Saturday January 11th, 2025.
Location – Sandhills Gamelands. Campground B. (Click the link above for directions)
Arrive: 8:00 am.
Agenda – We will hold a quick annual meeting, distribute birds, break off into training groups and get to training.
Annual Meeting agenda:
Welcome new officers / Discuss and decide on vote for NAVHDA International annual meeting motions / Poll Members for types of clinics they are interested in
BIRD ORDERS: We will be able to provide Pheasant, Quail, and Chukar for this training day. Please fill out the form below to register for training day and place your bird order. We suggest 3 to 5 birds for your field runs, and 1 or 2 pheasants for pheasant track. Please bring bird bags or crates for your birds as they will be distributed to you at the meeting site. The Duck search area will be available (Please keep in mind that he water Temps are extremely cold and not conducive to duck search training typically), but you will have to source your own ducks. You will also need to bring your own ducks for steady by blind, retrieve of duck.
Registration and bird orders are closed as of Wednesday, January 8th at noon. You may still attend and register but birds will no longer be available.

Reminders and what to bring:
The chapter will provide training equipment including zingers, decoys, boat,12ga shotguns – single shot – etc… BUT for all training you must bring your own ammunition/poppers or training pistol/blanks. Due to the high cost and difficult sourcing, the Chapter cannot afford to supply ammo or poppers.
• State law requires you to have a Hunting license from your resident state
• Blaze orange apparel – orange hats count.
• Dog owners and handlers must be NAVHDA International members and guests must sign a daily waiver.
• Dog must be NAVHDA registered
• Don’t forget water, snacks, rain gear, chairs, crates, etc.
Cleanup
• Please keep the training areas free of trash.
