We will be holding our NC 2nd Saturday training day – Jun 8th, 2024.

Arrive: 8:00 am
There will be a $10.00 field use fee per dog at this property. (Please bring exact change CASH ONLY for your dog(s) as we will have to pay on site)
Field Work – There will not be any upland birds available for purchase, but there is a field available if you have your own birds or would like to run in a field to work cooperation.
Water Work– Puppy swim, UT Steady by blind retrieve of duck, and duck search water is available as there is a lake and a swamp available. You must source your own ducks for the duck search water.
Please register below to attend this training day so we have an idea of who is coming and what you want to work on. Please register by Noon on the 6th of Jun.
Reminders and what to bring:
Chapter will provide training equipment including zingers, decoys, boat,12ga shotguns – single shot – etc… BUT for all training you must bring your own ammunition/poppers or training pistol/blanks. Due to the high cost and difficult sourcing, the Chapter cannot afford to supply ammo or poppers.
• State law requires you to have a Hunting license from your resident state
• Blaze orange apparel – orange hats count.
• Dog owners and handlers must be NAVHDA International members and guests must sign a daily waiver.
• Dog must be NAVHDA registered
• Don’t forget water, snacks, rain gear, chairs, crates, etc.
Cleanup
• Please keep the training areas free of trash.
